Default How to change track preset folder location?
I have a folder in Documents called Pro Tools that seems to house all the presets for everything in pro tools.

I'm cleaning up the Documents folder and would really only like to have documents there, so is there a way I can just make pro tools save its presets in another folder. Maybe in its program folder on the drive, for example.

This folder location is set in Protools preferences under the "Operations" tab

Actually that tab only allows you to change the sound libraries, project cache, and documents folder locations.

Still can't find out how to change the folder location of "pro tools presets" and "track presets"

It automatically saves these in your documents folder. I'd like to only have documents in my documents folder. I can't find where to change this save location.

It is not under preferences->operation

That "Pro Tools" folder contains your track presets. I keep it in a Dropbox folder so it is continuously synced on my various machines.

i am seeing this under /Preferences/Operation/. see attached screen shot. by default the Track Presets are stored in ~/Documents/Pro Tools/Track Presets/ (as part of the "Documents and Settings" path) but you can change this to whatever path you like. i am running PT 2020.5.

That is the "Documents and Settings" path I set in the Operations tab of the preferences.
