Default Disconnecting D Command Fader

Hi, anyone who's taken a fader out to clean it, how did you get the multi pin connector off? I can't get my fingers down there. Any tips? Some sort of tool? Hire a small child with tiny digits?
Thanks

Hi,

Guess I’m lucky and have small hands. I didn’t dint it that hard to reach down and pull it out. Other than that a lot of removing everything around it.

Can’t find someone with smaller hands to have a go?

Chris

If you can take off the side panel, the entire plate comes off and is much easier to get to each fader.

There are many, many screws. But, put them back in the right order and you’re fine. However, it’s SO much easier to access the faders and there’s much less danger of breaking the solder to the power.
(In my experience)
