Default Can I use DIGI002 as a simple control surface?

I have one question.
I think there isn't any reason that DIGI002 can't control other sequencing software(eg. cubase...).
Isn't there any way to use DIGI002 as a control surface for cubase or sonar or somethingl...?
If so, then please tell me how to do it.(Do I need third party application or something?)
Please help me....
