Default PT new features wishlist

Hi,

as I cannot find any PT features wishlist thread, I just start one.

These are 2 new features I'd like to see in an upcoming upgrade.

1) Audiosuite preview path.
In case we're applying an Audiosuite process to a region which is actually placed in a track in the arrangment, it would be so useful if we can audition the preview THRU the track/channel strip the region belongs to, and not thru a default audition output which actually doesn't allow me to listen to the final result I would obtain thru the track.
In other words, just as Cubase does.

2) Hardware insert bypass.
It would be good to have the possibility to bypass an I/O insert of a track. I guess this is related to the DAE engine, but as I understand Avid is rewriting the engine, maybe now it's the right time to plan such a feature.

Guys let me know what you think.

Maxx, you're new here. It would behoove you to get acquainted the true process for Pro Tools wishes. It consists of 5 steps.

They are:
  1. Denial
  2. Anger
  3. Bargaining
  4. Depression
  5. Acceptance
Welcome to the DUC
