Missing audio file - question
Hi,
I have pro tools HD on my home and I have 2 systems in the studio. When I copy a session from studio-A then open it in my home I get the missing audio file window while all files exist in the "audio files" folder that in the pro tools session folder. Each time I copy a session from the studio I have to create a new session in my home studio and imports the tracks from the "audio files" folder to get it to work. all computers here are apple 10.12.6 with Protools HD 2018.4/HD 2018.7 Does anyone have an idea why this is happing? how to fix it? Regards, AK |

Re: Missing audio file - question
I cant give you a "why" except the vagaries of OS's but the best thing to do IMHO is to do an alternate session copy and open it and test it before you copy it to your portable storage/transfer device
