Default iLok not seen - client not happy!!

I have sveral iLoks going, as always - one for PT, one for plugs etc. - and my client is trying to use his as well, but PT is not seeing it. Of course it has all the plugs we need for his mixes......

Hi,

obvious question, but have you installed the plugins?

Have you logged into ilok.com to see if the ilok is connected ok and the auth's are all there!

The auth's in this ilok are compatible with the plugin versions you have installed on your system!!

system profiler will tell you if the computer sees the I-Lok on the USB port

Also if any are Massive Pack authorizations, those are specific to those versions.
Did he bring his versions from his system?
And not sure if this was mentioned, are they current to your version of PT?

hope it gets worked out.

Hi Rob,

We will take a look tomorrow..Thursday.. We had a day off today.. I know there are plugins install and no Massive stuff that I know of.. We are only seeing Smack which is unusual and no others like Pultec, SoundToys Native etc. of which he is using Echo Boy for all of his reverbs.. I'll pass this along to him.

If the suggestions given above don't work, you might want to try a different USB hub. The one you're using might have problems, or be sub-standard.

i agree i keep mine back behind the puter since the keyboard one started giving me prompts that said dysfunction was happening

D-Link USB hubs are the way to go imho.
