Default Export selected glitch

I have mixed down about 45 minutes by recording to a separate audio track. The recorded file is fine, but then when I try and export it as a stereo AIFF file, the exported file has sections of high pitched tone in it. Has anyone encountered a problem like this.

I'm using a Digi 002 on OS X 10.4.7
