my cranesong phoenix was stolen from me by ilok

Wow, this is scary.

Thought iLok/PACE was a trustworthy company, but I could find nothing about this on their website. Wondering how far back this goes, and if certain companies knew about this and decided to jump ship.

I did get the email for a PT|HD 7.3 auth which I have never used and don't care one way or another about.

What I am worried about is that I have purchased orphaned iLoks (iLoks only, no account info/rights) via eBay or here on the DUC. First thing I did when I received these was to verify the contents with iLok License Manager - if any of these would have shown up as stolen or illegitimate I could've returned to seller and/or filed a claim and prevent the transfer of funds. Now, this long after, no.

I have good News.

Ilok manager contacted me, apologized for the mistake and put 2 licences that were taken from buyer's accounts back on their accounts.

He told me that ,by mistake, copies of the licences were sold, and originals were
still on my account (which I didn't notice, nor used them).

All in all, happy ending, Thank God.

I have problem with a HD8 where ilok support say this is a duplicated license but i activated from license code, now i fight with them :/ they simple try see me stupid. Isn't a problem if something go wrong and my account "born" a duplicated HD8 license, but where is the non duplicated one from my account? :))))

this is a hard question what they can't answer now.
