Hi,

Post it up. it usually says which thread is the cause and the thread will often mention what is causing the panic, often a plugin etc.

Hi,

Waves shell 9.3

I'm using a mixture of waves 8 and waves 9. i know some of the more recent plugs from Waves won't run on Lion. best use the 8 versions if you can. i only use 9 versions where versions 8 are available.

I have to install versions 8, then remove the waveshell 8 from the digidesign plugins folder then install version 9.

Then remove all the versions 9 plugins from the "waves 9 plugins folder" that i use as version 8. then put the version 8 waveshell back into the Digidesign plugins folder!

Phew still with me a little complicated but it works

Hi,

No because waves uses a shell to house their plugins in pro tools, but it will be one of the version 9 or the waveshell itself is not compatible. it might be too new a version etc. i use waveshell 9 as mentioned above but don't think its the latest version.

are you using all version 9 waves?

All version 9 buddy, this is on my hard drive running Maverick. With Lion the sessions open up fine. Strange as I use the same selection of plugins for my mixing but some sessions open fine 1 or 2 don’t
