Opening Acid pro files in Pro Tools 7
Ok i have Pro Tools 7.0 and upgraded it from 6.9 or 6.7, whateva the hell i had before, specifically so i can take all the masters from this old studio i used to go to, that ran Acid pro, and mix them down myself in pro tools. BUT i can't import the damn sessions. I went into the digibase browser like the manual said to but what appears to be the Acid session file is jus a blank icon...the .acd, .acd-bak and .sfk files are blank icons..and i can't drag them anywhere useful..the only ones i can import are the wave files but all the time/placement information isn't there so i have to manually put each track where it should be in reference to the song..AND its a pain in the ass..any suggestions.?!?..
please respond to the thread or email me at [email protected] ...thanks for the help. |
