Default Pro Tools 8 *Audio Clock & Sample Rate*

Hey,ok...I got everything set up and ready to go..just to let you guys know I am new to pro tool period....I have a mbox 2 mini....now I put in mic as the input in the track part and when i go to record it says"problem detected with audio clock,check that your clock source and sample rate are correct"....know anything i might be doin wrong?appreciate ANY help with this....

Welcome to the DUC.. Lots of good people on here and a lot of good information..

There are a few groundrules however that you really should try and abide by.. it makes it easier on everyone to help you and be helped by you..

First, there are things you need to read and understand here for Windows, and here for Mac...

Please understand we are not having a go at you, this is something everyone here goes through. The information helps us help you (hence the name of the thread).. It's kind of like calling you friend Bob and asking where your other friend Jim's house is.. If Bob doesn't know where you are, he can't tell you how to get there except very generally which may or may not help you.

btw... Whilst you are here, stop in the shop and grab yourself a Hobo travel mug (looks like a mason jar with a rusty top), a pack of Hobo Stogies (some have hardly been smoked at all), and sign up for Hobo Monthly.. a great read if I do say so myself, (I like the scratch-n-sniff pics of boxcars personally).
