Default Pt 11 still trying to Activate

Hi I purchased and received this morning my Activation card for PT 10 to PT 11 upgrade. I went on my Avid account this morning and clicked Software Activation and Download. I entered my Activation code correctly and then entered my iLok user id (not the ilok serial number) and clicked activate. I've been watching that little circle thingy going around and round in the upper right corner as the Activation site tries to go to redemption/ilok account or wherever it goes. I have no Anti Virus on that Pro Tools Pc so it's not that. I use Internet Explorer. Yes my iLok 2 is plugged into that Pc. For a couple of days before this I even tried to link my Avid Account with my iLok account and it times out within a few seconds before I can type in iLok password. Anyways this is why I very seldom upgrade because it has always taken days to activate with Avid. Any other software companies, I can download-activate within a few minutes. I have high speed internet. Any of you had this same problem? Thanks J.

Have you installed the iLok manager software, if you have, it might be worth checking to see if your license has been deposited. If so then log into your Avid account, the download should be there.

Thanks for the reply sm, yes I have the newest iLok manager and iLok 2 installed. No there is no Pt 11 showing yet because my Avid account is still trying to Activate the product code for the past few hours.

Hi J.Thomas,

I have started a support case regarding this to get more info.

At this time, we are having some technical errors and and website bugs when activating our products which leads to not able to view/download purchased products under "My Products and Subscriptions".

We do apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you Gerald, in the mean time I am going to stop the activation which has been going on for over 7 hours now. Hopefully it won't think that I am reusing the Activation Code more than once when I go to try it again.

Please note to Gerald of DigiTechSupt: As soon as I got your message that you put in a Support Case for me and that they would email me for info I remembered that the Email address in my Account is old. I have since got a new ISP so I immediately changed it to my new email address. Not sure if you used my old email when you put in the Support Case but if you did, can it please be updated or Support can't contact me to remedy the Activation situation. Thank you
