Default When press play the stop key lite and play key blinking

I am having a problem that is when I try to play, the stop key goes on and also with blinking play key. could some one help me with this. I am in the middle of job.

system with PT HD 7.4 with Control 24 Mac 10.4.9

Open your session. Go to your "Setup Window" (up top), click the "Playback Engine" tab, change your "H/W Buffer Size" to anything other than what it is. Click "OK". Press play, stop. Now, do the same procedure, and put the buffer size back to whatever you had it before. I don't know why, but this fixes the problem.

Could your transport be online? The online button all the way on the left of the transport

Option>Spacebar turns this on/off BTW (On-Line).
Note: It sound more like bug where Mr. Young's solution should resolve.

I've only hit this on a G5 with LE 7.3.1x (002r)

This is more likely the countoff is turned on in the Transport window. Open the Transport window and show Expanded view of the window from the Views, then turnoff the countoff. Should fix the problem

This problem persists and apparently only solved by the buffer size change. It's been a while so....what's up with that DIGI???
