PT 7.4.2- OMF import from FCP problems & Xfades
Hi, I'm experiencing several 'crippling' issues with PT 7.4.2 LE on a Mac, importing an OMF 2.0 from Final Cut and also adding video as a guide track with audio.
Issues are: - Audio files appear normal (visually), but when played send a 'digital harsh' sound to the output (like white noise to output). - Crossfades when generated (or imported from FCP) produce this sound also. - cannot import any additional FX or other audio files to project without producing the 'digital harsh' noise. - Cannot import a video track with an audio guide without again producing the 'digital harsh' noise. The video will import if the audio track is trashed. From what I can establish, it's a sample rate/ importing / codec issue..? but simply doesn't make sense that crossfades can't be generated or any other audio added to the project. System is: Mac G5 OSX 5.3 PT 7.4.2 LE MBox Digitranslator any advice would be great! |
