Eucontrol and iPad versions incompatible

Just got a 13.1.1 IOS update. The plot thickens.....

It would be nice if Avid had made that possible. Henceforth, I won't trust them. Whenever a new Control app version shows up, I won't update it until I've logged into my.avid and checked the EuControl version matches.


So, this morning, the EuControl 19.9 is in my personal account (regular PT) under My Products, though only the older version is in Download Center. At work, though, where I use Ultimate on Mac with a different Master Account, there's no Eucon stuff in My Products. I can log into my personal account at work tomorrow and download the one for Mac. What a pain, though! They put it on us to make sure they're releasing usable versions of their software.

And crazy Apple won't let you roll back their update of 13.1 software.

There ought to have been a warning on the EUCON, S3/S6/Dock download link that this will screw up your system with the latest Apple software.

I've given up on iTunes to manage / backup my iDevices. iMazing allows me to reinstall older apps from previous backups.

ios 13 compatable versions should drop pretty soon FWIW.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Apple has a policy that the end user can only update to newer versions of any given software. If you need an older version you need to go talk to Apple Genius.

Sucks, right?
