Default Mix Window Channel Width?

Hi,

I'm trying to adjust the width of the mix window channels. I've checked the preferences and tried clicking every corner but have failed miserably. =[

Can anyone help me out on how I can get my channel strips to look like THIS instead of what it looks like CURRENTLY.

I would really appreciate it someone could help me out. It's been a few months and I have yet to find out how to change it. I remember it suddenly appeared like that and I ignored it but it's starting to irritate me.

View>Narrow Mix

Or Control+ALT+M

You know a choice called "Fit To Window" or "Expand to Window" would be really cool.
