You would not be eligible for a free upgrade to Pro Tools 8. You purchased this in 2007 - the eligibility date for Pro Tools 8 is October 3rd, 2008.

Hi DiigiTechSupt--you have a bug in your system --I registered this MBOX MICRO just recently and my registration has gone into a black hole

Can you explain what you mean by that? Did you not get a confirmation email?

That would be normal if you had actually entered the activation code the first time - it can only be used once.

You will need to contact Tech Support by phone or via the Customer Service Request Form so they can get this sorted for you. I can look up info, but I can't change or modify any of it.

I don't mean to be impatient at all, but maybe there is something up? I went through the hardware registration process, and installed the software, at which time I entered the activation code... several hours have passed, and the only email from digi is the confirmation of the hardware registration.

The only reason I ask is because I recently purchased and registered MPTK, and it only took 9 MINUTES for the amnesty/no-cost email to show up in my inbox for MPTK2... hows that for service??? =)

There may be something up, but since I don't have any info from you - confirmation, name or registered email address, it's difficult to say, since I can't look anything up. Apparently you're using a different email address for registration than what you're using here on the DUC.

I show your purchase date as Aug 29, 2008, which means you would not be eligible for the free upgrade to Pro Tools 8.
