Default New Markers Window in 2023.12 broke selecting regions

In the new Marker window on PT 2023.12, you can no longer click a marker, then shift click a second marker to create a selection for a bounce.

You must click/shift click the markers on the timeline. It no longer selects anything when doing this in the Marker window itself and your bounce winds up with some nonsensical start and stop points.

Thinking it has something to do with the new ability to select multiple markers in the window for other operations now.

Anyway, it caused me to bounce of bunch on junk today before I realized what was happening.

Yea this threw me for a minute but i think whats happening is you have to click in the far left column now, right under the new view filter. then it works as normal. Your right, if you click the marker name, Like it has always been, nothing happens. no selection.
Hope this helps

AWESOME! thank you. Clicking in the far left column has the same behavior as previously clicking anywhere on the marker. ie you can Click/Shift Click on markers in the Marker Window and get a valid bounce selection as before.

Also. if you click the little Link button in the upper left hand corner, you then can click the marker name like the old days. For me having that button checked is causing me an instant crash if i right click a marker to edit it when that marker contains a window configuration, which i use all the time. So for me, i do not check the link button and all works.

Thanks for that!

I hope we can have a "classic" version of the memory location window...

d

Thank you for that! I bounced a bunch of nothing today!

It is tough to change muscle memory after a decade plus of making a start and and and end marker on every session, then shift-clicking them to bounce the session without a thought.
