Installed 12.6, when I ran it I got an activate screen. Put in lLok info, and it told me I had pending licenses.
Saw my 12 perpetual license in my iLok account. (10/11/12 activations 0/1 Deposit date 9/27/16). Got home from work, went into iLok license manager, activated the licenses deposited today, surrendered the old one, launched PT 12.6 ( I had already installed it) appears to be working fine. -dj

hey Jeffro,
i got the 12.6 installer into myAvid account but i have no new related license available into iLok account. just to be clear... the new 12.6 license is needed for both Protools "standard" and HD versions, or only for HD users ?? a friend with "standard" version updated to 12.6 and now every plugin on the ilok2 seems not recognize their license into the ilok key ! a total mess Last edited by jeffro; 09-29-2016 at 11:22 AM. Explain this to me as if I was five.
12.6 is not ready, for some, due to ..? Got a Application manager message that 12.6 was ready to install I tried to install, are on support plan, but got that missing license screen. No 12.6 in my iLok account. Quickly rolled back to 12.5. Do we get a message when it's ready to install? Kind Regards, Anders |

If you looked around here before asking you would have read that licenses are beeing added as we speak and you will recieve the correct license as soon as possible
Not agreat solution or event this became but we are used to it by now and can just wait until the licenses areive, nothing more nothing less. Check ypur ILM and your ilok account tomorrow and wait a day or so and then start a ASC from your avid account and make contact with Avid support there. They will need a lot more info then you would wanna post here.

Probably got on version 7 when 7.4 was released :O So there's really no trouble to wait. Perfectly fine on 12.5. Just felt "special" Hahaha... I'm in the same boat, 12.6 is in my account - I downloaded, then built a complete clean ground up install on a new computer - OS, PT 12.6, Plugs the lot! There is no license in my iLok account so 12.6 won't boot!
Where to now? |

No license in my ILOK account either. I have put a support case in, but just putting it out there incase it get overlooked in all this mayhem
