Mojo and 7.4 LE Problem
I took a mojo home from work and wanted to get video playback off of the mojo with 7.4cs2 LE. I have DV Toolkit 2. I have a Horita BSG 50 giving video black to the MOJO. I have the Mojo Clock out going to the 003rack spdif in. I have a Dual Core 1.83 intel PC that is fully functional with 7.4LE until I tried playing video out. I have 2 seperate firewire busses ADS Pyro cards. I am running Windows XP Home with 2 gigs of ram. Avid Video from a Media composer is playing from one 320 gig SATA drive. Audio is playing from another 320 gig SATA drive. I have gone through all the setup stuff in the MOJO guide etc...
My problem is I see video on my screen but it is frozen. It is only the first frame of video coming out of the mojo. There is a flicker even with the frozen frame like clock is not happy. Tried multiple cables from the Horita box. Mojos Ref light is on. What am I doing wrong? Does this work on the PC? or is it a mac only thing for Mojo out of 7.4 LE. It seems unclear in all the documentation. Thanks. Mike |

Re: Mojo and 7.4 LE Problem
You must have the Mojo on the internal firewire buss with no other drives on the same buss. Put audio on a PCI firewire card bus or a second SATA drive. Video and audio not running off the same drive.

Re: Mojo and 7.4 LE Problem
There are no drives running on the firewire bus it is connected to. My problem is the PC does not have an internal firewire bus.
Maybe that is the problem. Mike |

Re: Mojo and 7.4 LE Problem
Man, the Mojo is very picky. I bet your problem is the computer. You're going to need a DIG qualified PC to get it working I'm afraid.
Best, Brandon

Re: Mojo and 7.4 LE Problem
I was hoping not to have to bring home a G5 to do some extra work. I wonder if tech support would know.
