Hey folks

I've just bought a Fast Track Solo with Pro Tools Express 10.3.4 and error message says its incompatible with MAC OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

What's the best way around this?

PTExpress is not supported and does not work with Mac OS Yosemite anymore.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, PT Express is not supported on Yosemite. So you need to either downgrade your operating system to a compatible one, or upgrade your PT to full version.

Here are the system requirements.

Thanks for the responses guys

Just so I'm clear, will the $199 PT11 upgrade work even if I don't have Pro Tools Express installed?

Thanks

Once you purchase the upgrade the full installers will be available in your Avid account, no need for anything to already be installed.

Yes. As of PT9 and onward Pro Tools can be used with any compatible 3rd party interface and internal soundcards
via ASIO4ALL (Win) or Core Audio (Mac)

So you don not need to have any old PT version installed to upgrade to PT11 as it is full installers and a New Program

Best Regards
Christopher

Hey guys

Have just gotten around to installing PT11 with the Fast Track Solo
The fast track is not showing up on i/o options list for recording an audio track, it is showing up on Audio MIDI list but I can't figure out how to get it working to record a track

Any help much appreciated
Thanks

Hey Ed

Go into settings and then i/o and press default on all the options, in out aux etc and both the input and output tabs and see if that helps
