SC48 Password Protection
How do I password protect my SC48 to prevent my console being used without my knowledge. I am storing at another location and i want to ensure it's not being used without my knowledge.

Re: SC48 Password Protection
You can't, not from the VENUE software. There are probably some work-arounds that involve restarting the console directly into Windows CE and locking the OS, but they aren't supported by AVID and you might lock up the desk in a way that you can't do a normal console start up.
You could remove the hard drive (takes about 20 minutes to open the desk, remove it and close it back up), but that's pretty extreme. |

Re: SC48 Password Protection
Easy....Just write 'M7' on the case lid, or you *may* be able to boot into the BIOS by pressing the F10 key during boot...in BIOS it may be possible to temporarily disable the HDD...save and exit.
