DAE error 1115!!!

Whats going on here?
I just open PT8, and all of the sudden the error shows up!!!

Almost always means that PT cannot communicate with the interface. Check your connections and power cycle your interface and reboot.

Yes, and to elaborate a little if you have an Mbox...

DAE error -1115 on launch when using an Mbox 2 and a MIDI I/O with Pro Tools LE.

Separate USB ports on a machine may share the same USB host controller. If a MIDI I/O is plugged in to such a machine and then a Mbox 2 is plugged in, the Mbox 2 will not be able to function properly and Pro Tools will throw a DAE -1115 error on launch (the OS will also throw a "USB Host Controller bandwidth exceeded" message).

Workaround: Switch one of the devices to a different USB port/bus.

I had a dream once, that I was working in a big song, and Pro Tools gave me an error message that said
"Congratulations! You have received a DAE error 9999! This makes you a record holder, which means you just won the grand prize of $9.000.000! Please contact Digidesign at [email protected] to claim your prize."

Suddenly it all made sense... why Pro Tools gave out so many error messages. It was all part of a big game!
Then, I woke up.
