Headphones with Control 24... TALKBACK!

Hey again,

how does one setup headphone mixes with the control 24 that allow you to use the integrated "Talk back" feature?

Nutshell's method will work if you want to feed the artist the control room mix, but if you want to create a separate cue mix here's how you do it.

1. Send two outputs from your i/o to the AUX INs on your C/24 (I use 23-24).

2. Assign a send on each channel to the same pair of outs that you set up in step 1.

3. Usually I copy the mix to the send as a starting point. This can be accomplished using the 'copy to send' feature in PT.

4. You'll need to send the AUX OUTs to a headphone amp and connect your cue system accordingly.

5. The talkback will work with both this method and Nutshell's.
