Default 2023.12 is so good THANK YOU
I'm loving this update. Can't believe we can finally launch this app with out it scanning all the plugins every time. My large sessions are loading super fast. The color routing makes it easier to follow what's going on in crazy town.

Queue up the Gordon Ramsey meme, finally a good fkg update. So good I can sincerely say THANK YOU AVID or whoever is running things there now. Eternal gratitude to whoever made these things happen.

Haven't tried it yet because I'm in the thick of a contract but I really look forward to exploring the new marker features. Also thanks to tope, marianna and the rest of the customer relations team. Really seems that customer support at Avid has turned a new leaf in the last year.

Just noticed Crane Song Phoenix II is still not working. It loads now, but it crashes the session within 1 minute. Had that happen 3 times before moving it back to the unused folder.

Yep, I knew it would be a big improvement. I knew about a lot of the improvements. I did all of my firmware updates and DADMAN updates which are a huge improvements on their own. I've been slammed this week and will try and get it updated maybe tomorrow or the weekend.

So far so good with Ultimate on my main rig (MAC Studio on Ventura) and Intro on my Win 10 backup rig/dub station. Nothing bad to report.

What do you mean "not scanning plugins"? Mine scanned/loaded plugins upon startup.

That’s not good to hear. Is it related to Pro Tools, or is it a problem with Apple Silicon compatibility?

I think it is on the CraneSong end of things. They can be a bit slow on updates. From what I hear they are working on a Silicone version.

Anyone tested it with Rosetta?

Coreect, the same behavior here. Additional, I got the impression that loading times are longer now. I have many plugins (> 500) but with version 2023.9 the same setting did a better job.

It takes almost 5-10 sec until the PT splash screen pops up. Is this an ilok-issue?
