Yeah, I'm confused too. Will the plaintiff please rephrase the question? Personally, I would skip the AUX track entirely. Use a stereo INSTRUMENT track as it allows you to hear the keyboard within the same track as the midi resides(and the meters on the instrument track will show you the level of the keyboard audio). Adjust the audio level with the GAIN knob on the interface, or by turning the Motif master volume up/down. The meter on a midi track simply shows midi data flow(so its sort of useless other than to see that midi info is there).

I think it is a bug....What are you confused about...MY aux tracks are reading each midi channel i use, say from the motif..IM using 8 midi tracks drum bass synth etc...The aux channel meter is not showing me clip which i know i am clipping....??? Bottom line the aux meter channel is not reading it correctly

Try recording the audio to an AUDIO track and see what happens. Are your meters set to PRE or POST fader? Set to Pre for most work.

Exactly why I suggest putting meters in PRE-fade mode. Just thinking that if you pull an AUX fader down, say to -10, you can have a clipped signal, but the meter is showing the level with 10db subtracted(hence the lack of red lights). FWIW, my metering is ALWAYS in pre-fader9been mixing music for 30+ years and used post fader metering exactly 1 time, to do a hurried balance on a 22 piece string section.
