What the Pop!
I get random pops from my 888, always on input (or output) # four. It happens even when I have nothing plugged in. It sounds like a static pop, but the strange thing is it never does this while I'm recording. Anyone ever have this problem?
Thanks, Das |

Re: What the Pop!
Hi,
What is being sent to input #4? Have you tried different sources? Different cables on the input/output? Different peripheral cable? Do you see the pop in the meters in PT? On the 888? Have you trashed Digisteup? Does it only happen on one 888? I haven't see this, but the answers to these questions could help us narrow it down. It might be time to call Digi Tech Support. MasterJ |

Re: What the Pop!
In addition to Master J's suggestions, reseat the interface cable at both ends.
-If problmes persist and you are using multiple audio interfaces, swap interface positions and see if the problem follows the interface or whether the behavior is specific to any interface connected to the card (to which the 888 is currently connected). Brent |

Re: What the Pop!
I will try reseating the cards and trashing digisetup. I am only using one 888, its balanced in & out, but even when I have nothing connected to the inputs I can still see the pop on the 888, and in my session while recording.
Thanks for your help. I'll post later if the problem still persists. Das |
