Default Control24 Mic-PREs . Is it possible to use them standalone ?

Hi everybody,
I just sold my mackie d8b (that had a great monitor section :/ ) and I was thinking to purchase a Control24 unit for my ProTools MixPlus setup on my Mac G4-867 basically for 3 reasons : 1) Big & useful control surface in protools, 2) 16 Focusrite MIC-PREs, 3) Good monitor-out+aux-out section connected to my surround setup(5x Genelec 1031+1x Genelec Subwoofer)+ALT-monitor out(2x mackie HR-824).

Since i have 2 machines (1x Pentium4-2 GHZ PC with Creamware Scope/SP+Pulsar2+2xRME ADI8-AE converters and 1x MAc with Protools MixPlus+ADATBridge24+1622 with Control24), sometimes it happens that i need to use PC-only (without protools but only with logic & scope/SP) but i always need the monitor section in which i have connected Control24 to my speakers.

Now my question is :

Is it possible to use Mic-PREs & control monitor section in control24 STANDALONE ? With "STANDALONE" i mean without protools TDM up & running(with mac powered off for example). I saw in the manual that the submixer can be used standalone , but Digidesign does not say anything about MIC-PREs & Monitor/AUX/ALT-out section. Could they be used standalone(MICPREs routed directly to direct outs through db25 connectors and monitor out section routed through control24 monitor section buttons to monitor/speakers DB25-out) ?

I guess it's possible since it's a pure analog section, but i would really like to be sure before i purchase it.

Sorry for this lame question, but i really didn't find this kind of information inside C24 manual.

regards
Ste

Yes, both the monitor section and mic pres can be used without PT.
