Are the Pros using C24?

Is the Control 24 being used in Professional studios along with preamps as a replacement for a good console or is it really sitting in the home recording end of the industry?

My clients love the C24, but yes, the pre's are necessary. Outside producers familiar with PT or Nuendo love the way it integrates. No one, however, likes the volume knob.

So far everyone that has seen my Control 24 HD rig have gone wild over it. It looks and feels very solid and it is an absolute dream to work on. Now obviously there are some things there that I would love to see, but given the price, I would say it is probably one of the best value items around.

Now if only there was a Control 48 with 48 faders and an integrated well possitioned keyboard and mouse and of course the motorized surround panners (oops sounds like a Pro Control) but I can keep dreaming.

Seriously $ for $, you can't go wrong with it.

To answer the original question, yes C24 is
an integral part of our studio.
