Default Pro Tools 9 and win 10 multiple screens

Dear folks,
Am new to this forum, so please excuse any ignorance on my part.
Having a very, very, very frustrating problem. Just miced my PT 9.06 from an old dell i3,
8 gigs RAM laptop(had puny 2.1 chip. I knew it would eventually not handle my stuff).
Anyway, I used an old dell 17" external monitor for dual screen.funky, but it worked. I could do alt+F4 and save my stretched screen settings for all my sessions. PC finally got overwhelmed when I added ez drummer 2 and AmpliTube 3 as plugins.
Just bought an i7, 16 gig, 256 SSD+ 2TB Lenovo legion,win 10 home PC.
Install went fine. The 2 monitors don't get along with stretching,as New PC is19x10, older one us12x10. I did not care about that. I'm removing and replacing 2nd screen with a 27" HD LG monitor. Coming today.will just go HDMI TO HDMI or USB-c cable to HDMI.
My big, frustrating problem is inability to save with Alt+F4 anymore. I tried windows configurationsin PT.wont work on these multiple screens, after I exit out of PT and restart.
I also tried running PT in windows compatibility mode, for windows 7. No difference.
Any advice. I could use any and all ideas.
Thanks in advance
Steve K
