Default Focusrite Thunderbolt Claretts now for Windows

Hi guys!

Just as a short heads up and info. Received this mail today.
http://email.focusrite.com/clarett-i..._hsmi=37414264
Seems that Focusrite have got their Claretts to be working on Windows systems now as well.
No idea if and how reliably it will work at this point but I thought I could let you know about it.

As far as I know these will be ones of the first Thunderbolt audio interfaces for Windows systems.
They say the latest updates of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 to be supported as well as Thunderbolt
3 C supported in the future. They obviously also intend to get their Red series interfaces on Windows soon.

Again. This is just an info as I haven´t got any personal experience with these so far and cannot say how
stable these drivers/software are at this point. Nevertheless it might be interesting for one or the other of you.

Cheers.

If I where in the market for a new interface, that's probably the route I'd go. I've been happy with my Scarlett 18i20.

I supplied the computer to Focusrite on the U.S. side for their driver development under our partners Molten banner, but is our Pro Tools PC. I have a Clarett 2 pre and sounds great. Has turned into my goto when not on my HDN system. Nice to see it come alive finally!
