Well... consider that you are asking how to do things... do you want a thorough answer or a superficial one?

There is a world of difference between the guy that knows how to tighten nuts and bolts, and the guy that knows which nuts and bolts to tighten..

At the end of the day, suit yourself. If you are happy with your result then there you go.

I picked up a couple of macProVideos to begin with.

Really good stuff. Scott Freiman is great

I LOVE the NED desktop integration, although I wish there was a way to sync non-wirelessly (my Mac doesn't have wireless)...

Might grab Kenny's tips and tricks later

I've been really enjoying the Multi Platinum Pro Tools videos for quite some time. The editing, vocal editing, mixing and mastering DVD are all top notch. The Home Production is pretty kewl as well. They're really great cause you not only pick up ProTools stuff, you get lots of good editing, mixing and mastering techniques along the way. Plus some fat Nashville sessions which I never get enough of. The one big bummer is that the DVD's I mentioned were done it PT 7. It all translates to PT 8, but the visual interface obviously looks different. They do have a bunch of new videos that are all in PT 8. I just haven't gotten them yet.

Don't get me wrong. I love Kenny as well. I have all of his stuff and I watch it all the time. I just find the MPPT stuff takes it to the next level. I find it amazingly invaluable listening to a Pro mixer like John Merchant walking me through a 40 track mix over 6 or 8 hours. It's a great experience over and over again!

Send a note to EvilElfBoy on here.. He's one of the guys on the Multi Platinum videos.. He can probably direct you to what you want. He's a nice guy to boot.
