Alternate DaE plugin directory for pro tools
I have a RAM DRIVE and i know that waves plugins take millions of years to load but i wantd to know if there was a way to make pro tools detect plugins other than the c:\pf\cf\digidesign\dae\plugins\ folder so i can have my plugins load up like a finger snap?

Re: Alternate DaE plugin directory for pro tools
Hello,
I don't think you can have an alternate directory (that I know of) or that there's a workaround to load your plug-ins and Pro Tools any faster. As you probably know, anytime there's a change to your plug-ins folder/directory Pro Tools will take a long time to load. It's nice that it's faster after that though. Len |
