Need to upgrade an HD 1 system

I'm running PT 8.1 on an HD1 system on Window 7 (i7), and I can only run about six or seven plugs before I get errors stating there is not enough DSP.
What do I need to add to get more power for plugs?
An accel card? or another type or card?

Also I don't think my computer has whatever it may need to house another card - what will I need installed in my computer for the ability to house whatever card I will need to speed my system up?

i7, I'll asume you have PCIe slots
you just need an open full length slot next to the slot the Core Card is in
and a TDM Flex cable but that should come with the Accel card

What computer/motherboard do you have? Used Accel cards have never been cheaper than right now.

Get a magma chassis best thing I ever brought, there is one for sale in the buy/sell forum if you have PCI PCI-X cards very cheap and same as mine

Hey guys i need help ive posted on other forums about this and havent got any resaults

you guys are running protools hd systems on pc so i figure this is a good place for what i need

if one of you guys could send me the ProControl.dll & Procontrol_M.dll files i would appreciate it

it can only come from a pro tools hd 8 pc
i have even paid for a trouble code and called avid yesterday and they wer supposed to send me the files by end of day and sure enough i never got them
so now im out $40 and stand to lose more on sessions i have booked over the next however long till i get theese files
