Red face I need some help please....

G'day from Australia!!!

I just bought pro tools se with the m - audio fast track usb set up
and need some help ..

when i play a drum loop i can hear the sound
but when i have my guitar pluged in and using the guitar amp and effects
the guitar sound dissapears and i just hear the drum loop track..

I can hear the guitar and effects when i play and record , but not when
i just want to play the drum loops and play my guitar...


also some times ill be recording and ill get these different error messages
pop up


DAE error 9060 was encounted

and

DAE- error 9507 was


so im stumped
oh allso in the loop audition thing , it says user, does that mean you can
up load your own loops into it as i have my own as well?

my laptop is a hp quad core i7 4 gigs ram 400 gig hd and windows 7 64 bit...

any way i hope some one can help me..
i havent played guitar in 3 years or so and hoped this would be a good way to get back into it..
