honestly at first I hated winme. I'm not sure why. Oh yeah...it sucked. (jk) I was unsing win98 and read a thread about people adding more ram to win98 and it actually slowed down. Then I read that changing to winme helped a bit because it has better memory management.
So............. I'm using winme and it's fine..I think there was a slight difference but not THAT much. What I like about it is that the os/registry seems to stay quick and clean much longer than in win98. Win98 is great for a few months until all of your programs are installed. Then it's slow as hell. |
