Default Clicks and Pops

Hi....
I've got an A7V333 with Athlon 2400+,WIN ME, 512MB DDR Infineon RAM with DIGI 001 in slot 4 and ATI 7500 AGP card. That's it.

The IRQ is 9 shared with "ACPI IRQ holder for PCI IRQ steering" and "SCI IRQ used by ACPI bus"

All is good with high track and plugin count except for the fact that the audio has clicks and pops in it when I record enable a track. I don't even START recording and I get these clicks and pops. When I play it back, sometimes the clicks and pops have been recorded and other times not...I can record 20 mins without a hitch except for the fact that I still hear these gremlins!!!

And I don't use SPDIF or ADAT.

Any suggestions?
I've got 7200 rpm drives and have disabled, RAID, USB 2 and onboard Audio...I don't know what to do now.....

HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Hi Keeron,

Are you getting clicks and pops in all of your sessions or just one? Is your sync mode set to internal?

Marc

Hi Marc

Thanks for the reply...

It happens with every session, and happens no matter what sync mode I'm in. Any ideas?

Well it never hurts to re-seat your pci card and re-attach the digi cable from both ends.

Are you getting the pops on every input?
Have you tried all of the inputs with different sources like a guitar or keyboard?
