Default Yellow highlighted tracks in edit window?

Anyone seen this and know what it means?

Nothing's misbehaving, but it's driven me bonkers!

if you are on an Icon control surface it tells you that those tracks are currently active on the surface.

Yup, I had just AutoMapped my new Novation controller (with faders/knobs). That was the huckleberry.
