Default Re: Format for Bounce To Disk, if mixing in WAV?

AIFF or SDII

As I understand it the file types use different headers. No loss of data.

Might be wrong.

Default Format for Bounce To Disk, if mixing in WAV?

I am using the WAV format in ProTools 5.3 (rather than SD II), since this is the default format for HD. However, Toast can't handle this format. So, what format should I use when Bouncing to Disk, in preparation for burning a CD?

Does bouncing to disk in a different format create any loss-of-data problems because of the conversion?

Thanks,
Mike

I'd use aiff since it's also windoze compatible.

All three formats are the same data, it's just stored differently and different headers.

Now why can't toast add support for burning .wavs???
