Tell them to stick their stickers. There's no way in hell i'd pay that.
Anyway, after a while you just remember what the shortcuts are.

Seriously, Digi needs to include the stickers with every PT system! I just ordered PTLE 6.7 and got charged $16 for shipping. I also ordered a GigaStudio tutorial CD set from another place that is a bigger package and cost me $8 for shipping.

They only ship overnight. This option is catering to the larger TDM studios.

the sad part is that they can charge un-real shipping costs to make money and it is legal.... look at ebay for example.

My best suggestion would be to invest into a good PT book and memorize the shortcuts. You can always reference your book if you had to. goodluck

You should live in England mate, just winding you up pre-summer, although it might have been cheaper from here!. I printed them out from the PDF and stuck them on the wall. Wouldn't want to have to stick them on my beautiful keyboard either.

Since it seems no one else in this thread actually has these stickers, I'll throw in 2 cents.

As I said in the other "sticker" thread this week, this subject has been discussed many times in the past here. The "sticker shock" shipping price, is always mentioned. I paid around $25 US. Yes, it was irritating that nearly $10 of that was for shipping... still, I received them in 2 days and they are a high quality, tough material. After nearly a years use, I'm convinced a normal keyboard will wear out long before the stickers will.
Once applied... which admittedly is a project, your work flow immediately improves. And you learn as you work.
Very helpful and well worth the price, in my opinion.
Now you want to talk about overpriced... just look at that $250 Mac keyboard.

Yes, the stickers are very tough and high quality. Much better than anything I could make myself. I think mine have been on for a year, and are just as good as the day(s) I put them on. I agree that the shipping is way overpriced though, but I just imagined the cost of the stickers was $25 and the shipping was free. I don't think I could pay any more than that and not feel ripped off though.

I think digi should include the stickers with new LE purchases, they are already saving the money from the manuals they once included with new LE purchases (I'm still wearing out the 5.1 manual).

Just make the stickers. All you need is some white adhesive paper, make a list of shortcuts, colour code them, print them, cut them out and stick em on. It is a bit fiddly and time consuming but definitely do-able. Took me about about 3 hours. Ive had them on now for about a year and their still 100% and have taught me well.

Cheers!
