Default Connecting android dock with ethernet
How do you do this? I ordered a mini usb to Ethernet with power. The description says it works with android. I can't get my tablet to connect to my network via Ethernet no matter what I do. Any ideas?

the subnets are probably not the same

any idea how to fix? Normally my router servers up the ip and subnnet

Hi Brandon,

What tablet are you using and what version of Android? I only have limited experience but not all tablets support OTG adapters, or they might be picky about working with one but not another. I think it depends on the chipset in the adapter. And what drivers are installed by the tablet manufacturer.

I've heard of some where you actually have to put it in airplane mode before it will work over ethernet.

Most default to DHCP.
