Default Files linked, not linked, linked, not linked....

Move audio files once and relink and that should be it, right? Got a sesh such that every other time I open the damn thing I have to relink all over again. Audio files are not moving anywhere, they're actually in the Audio Files folder! Trashing the digi databses/doing permissions doesn't help, no time for any major reinstalls at the moment, that's for sure....but why would it be intermittent for the same sesh, same day? Relinking the 886 files only takes a few minutes, but certainly annoying.

PT 7.4sc5, OS 10.4.11, dual 2.5 PPC

The question I would ask is, what does your Disk Allocation Dialog say the proper allocation is for those files? If it is wrong change it and see if you still get the link dialog. Maybe this isn't the problem, if so my apologies.

If you’re emailing from the same computer on which your PT system is installed, don’t refer to a session as a “sesh”*. Software has feelings too, apparently.

IHTH.

Try starting over with that session.

Make a new session and import everything into it.

Include audio, markers, tempo etc. Everything.

Good luck.
