Waves AAX DSP: Ask if you want to get it!

Hi,

I started this new thread so everybody could see the response i had from Waves when i emailed them about AAX DSP.

If, like me, you would like to see AAX DSP Waves plugin in the future, drop them a line and tell them that you want to have them develop it.

If they get enough feedback from TDM users, they will do it!
Just read the last phrase of the first sentence, it is clear...

So, if you want AAX DSP in the future, write them!

Hi,

Waves contact their user base monthly! they simply need to do what UAD have been doing for years and do an online survey to gauge what their user base want.

Hey, they might even give you a credit to buy plugins like UAD do!

Sack the marketing team and pay the coders to write the AAX DSP

Of course i get that. That's why i ask TDM users who plan to upgrade to HDX in the future to email them.

To me this is Avid's problem.

No Waves AAX DSP = I don't buy HDX

Simple.

Put another way... If Avid haven't convinced Waves to do DSP versions then what does that say about Avid's market position?

Personally, I believe there WILL be a DSP version but not for a LONG time.
