Itunes 7.4.1 update stopping Pro tools from opening

Hi,
would anybody know how to roll back the updates that you install on your imac. I stupidly installed the 7.4.1 update of itunes and it seems to have stopped pro tools from being able to be opened.Anybody know a way round this?

I think this happens when you use System Update, is that what you used? If so try downloading the file from apple site.

I am getting a little tired of not being able to update my OS without it crashing protools. No other application on my mac has this issue. it is very strange that digi's code does not do a better job of adapting to OS changes. All of my other audio apps like Ableton Live work just fine...even using Digi interface.

use the 10.4.10 combo update from the apple site and download itunes from the site as well instead of software update.

Digi have a 'Pre-Binding Script' that is a much smaller download and that should get pt's running again.

I am having this same problem, and the "direct download" solution does not change the results. ProTools icon just hangs and doesn't even bounce. The "pace prebind script" dmg is no longer available at digi's location or on pace's site.
I've already had to cancel sessions, and I'm getting desperate. Anybody else have any fixes?

The combo update should sort it out.

I've done it a few times.

The script IS still there at this link. Fixed it for me when I tried and is much quicker than the combo update.
