PT 7.4.1 and Latest Quickeys Wont work - Help

Hi There,

just upgraded my grandpa Mac G5 to a screaming 8 core 2.8 beast. Installed PT 7.4.1 with a magma chassis. Everything is blazing fast but NONE of my quickeys work with protools anymore. They work in all other applications.

Does anyone have any clue?

PS | I have tried deleting QK prefs and creating new SCs - no use... Wont work - get error EVERY damn time

Mine work fine with 8 core harpertown and 741.

Hey Relaxo - mind if I ask whether you use "Menu Selection" or "Menu Clicks" as Quickeys Trigger?

I'm just a QK beginner. I do know that menu selections are problematic in PT generally. I'll write you more later.

relaxo - thanks - I've already found the problem.

Somehow when copying the the Quickey preference from another mac to this mac - set the "Device" to NOT use the Apple USB Keyboard.... After enabling again . it worked just fine.... FUnny thing was that if I re-programmed the trigger to be "Menu Clicks" it worked without enabling the USB Keyboards in the device configurator

If you had NOT chimed in - I would still be sitting here with a mellow mood. Thanks a bunch - you truly saved my Day and weekend

There should be a quickeys shortcuts for PT depot where we can all exchenge our programming.
