Default Some inputs are an Orange color, others are grey?

All,

Sorry for what is most likely a silly question, but some are an Orange color with a check mark, and some are grey? I’ve searched but can’t seem to find the proper advice.

Thanks,

Mark

Where are you seeing this? If its when you open the menu to select am input, orange/yellow signify that input is used somewhere in the session already(same with the bus menu). Light grey might mean an invalid input path. If you are new to Pro Tools, this is something you will learn how to deal with(especially if you work on sessions that came from another system

Thanks,

That is where I’m seeing it, but it’s seems to be a bit hit and miss. I’ll keep trying.

Appreciate you jumping in to try and assist,

Mark

Thanks,

I think we’re settled, learning that the color just meant it was in use.

Problem solved.
