Been tempted by this plugin but then again I have a real Jazz bass around here The one vi bass I like is the Rick bass from NI. The gui even has Lemmy's hat sitting on a chair. I bypass the internal amp in the plugin and go into either Bassdude from Plugin Alliance or the Ampeg B15 emulation in Amplitube 4. The Jazz bass get's di'd straight into PT.
Thank You for the great info Jack. I see Rob has the exact same problem as I do with the download stopping at the exact same place and just freezes there until I press stop so something is wrong from Waves side here.

I have tried uninstalling Waves Central and installed the latest 10.0.13.1 but still no bueno!!! I am soo farking tired of Waves and the constant Crap everytime I try to install anything new or update something/ i just refuse to Wup for ss long as I can, not a monetary issue but rather just a pissed off standpoint

I can safely say that the damn plugin is worth the money even though we also have a few very nice basses but for my home setup I needed to get a good sounding easy to use bass VI and 24.50 USD was a given after listening to the demo videos. However if it was $1 and still doesn’t work I would still be as pissed off as I am right now!!

Have been reinstalling since yesterday about 7 times and still looks precisely as Robs picture. Just stop at 75-80% of the install/download on both HD and SD options...

Bummer.... I was going to try and install the two libraries separately...

Another weird thing is the other plug I had in my Wishlist on Waves say I own it.... but I haven’t brought it..... I’ll have to go back and check.... but I’m sure I haven’t brought it yet

I have a really really nice 1987 3B BL Charvel Bass.... It has such a nice action, had a noisey volume pot which I changed out and seem to make it sounds even better after I did that.

I am a NI Rick bass fan too. I also have the Waves Bass Slapper but it doesn't see as much use a the NI. With three real basses, usually just for quick sketches but still.

Ok I managed to install Bass Fingers with the sample libraries not selected. So it installed and is working at least as a standalone..... the sample folders are empty but does have some presets... that about it... so must be a corrupt sample library

can change sounds via the presets list that's it..... you can load sample which takes you to a file dialog where you can see and select the two SD and HD folders and all the listed (by the looks) samples which are greyed out. If you select either of the SD HD folder it does a load thing but I don't see any sample list that you can select from. This only installed by not selecting either of the sample libraries so I think what I'm seeing is an empty file map... the samples aren't installed. But the plug works with the presets sounds and sounds pretty good.

Here is a couple of screen shots Chris..... I have loaded the plug onto an instrument track and triggering with my ReMOTE 25... you can also load it onto a stereo audio track but not mono, so I assume you can use this as a bass guitar Fx maybe.....

I did submit a ticket to Waves
