Default PT 9 and Lightbridge

Two simple (I think) questions:
Does PT 9 work with the Lightbridge on a windows system?
On such a system, can you record from all 32 Lightbridge inputs simultaneously?

I am trying to get a Lightbridge set up and am having problems routing aything out of the analog outs, which show up as 35-36 in pro tools. No trouble recording or outputing on any of the lightpipe I/O.

I am able to get audio out directly from windows.

It looks like I can only output to the first 32 outputs that are listed. Outputs 33-36 will not function.

I think the max I/O you can have in PT9 is 32. Unless you have HD.

I don't need that many outs, I just can't select anything higher than 32. If I want to just use 2 outs... and they are labeled 33 and 34 I can't use them. Seems like a design flaw, Makes me angry. Makes me want to scream to the world not to buy Pro Tools! This interface is on the compatibility list... but I guess they just don't want you to be able to use the analog outs with their software and their hardware.

You can set the SPDIF I/O first, then ADAT in the Lightbridge driver applet, then have analog output mirror SPDIF (Output 1 & 2 will be SPDIF/Analog out). You will lose the last two ADAT channels (maybe last 8), this is how I read it in the manual as I won't have my Lightbridge for a couple of weeks. You could also just disable the last 8 ADAT I/O which would put the SPDIF at 25-26 and the Analog at 27-28 if you need them separate. Should work either way though. Hope this helps!
