Analog outputs on 002R about 12db quieter than ADAT
Hey everyone,
I'm a long time lurker here on the DUC so first off, thanks for all the help over the years. I appreciate the wisdom. I'm having a problem with my 002R. The analog outputs are about 12-15db quieter than the ADAT Lightpipe outputs that I have running through an Apogee Rosetta 800. I have both units hard wired to my patch bay but the problem exists even when I bypass the patchbay completely. I am just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem. There is no distortion on any of the outputs, just less level. I'm using a MacBook Pro, PTs 7.4 cs8 with OS 10.4.9. It wouldn't be much of a problem for me if I weren't trying to use my Dangerous 2Bus. I'm assuming I have a problem with my hardware but I'm not sure. Normally when something goes wrong electronically inside, the volume would cut completely, not just drop in volume. Correct? Could it be a software or firmware issue? Any suggestion would help. Thanks -Slick |
