MBox2 not connecting?

So my MBox2 was broken, I sent it in, Digi sent me a new one. Now, I try to hook up this new one and it won't work. I reloaded all of the drivers and such, and I was able to get lights to come on the box. I was excited, so I opened PT and opened a session I had been working on, and I couldn't do anything. I couldn't play the session, I couldn't move forward or back, couldn't bounce...nothing. So I thought maybe, just to be safe, I'd try starting a brand new session...but still, nothing worked. I could not record or do anything. Then I examined the box, and noticed that the lights are very dim. The USB light is not on...but the two "mic" lights are on (very, very dim) ...I can press the button and they switch to DI...but still dim. And the only other lights that come on are if I press the mono or phantom power buttons....but the lights are still dim. Is there a problem with my cord? I'm pretty sure Digi sent my old one back to me...and maybe the way it got rolled in shipping damaged it? What should I do?
